Requesting the dental clinic with staff assaulting the patient to temporarily suspend operations

The People's Committee of Hanh Thong Ward (HCMC) requested the dental clinic whose staff assaulted a customer to temporarily suspend operations until the incident is resolved.

On September 8, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , a representative of the People's Committee of Hanh Thong Ward said that there had been a report regarding an incident in which a customer was assaulted by a person wearing a white blouse at a dental clinic.

Accordingly, on the same morning, the Ward People's Committee organized an inspection at Tuyet Chinh Dental Clinic, Nguyen Thi Nghi Street, Hanh Thong Ward. At the same time, there was an inspection team from the Department of Health , thereby combining to record the activities at this dental clinic.

Through inspection, Tuyet Chinh Dental Clinic has a business registration certificate of Tuyet Chinh Company Limited, with Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Chinh as legal representative.

License to operate medical examination and treatment issued by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health on April 24, 2019, the person in charge of professional expertise is Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Chinh in the form of a dental and maxillofacial clinic.

Ms. Chinh has a certificate of practice in dentistry issued by the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Health, a maxillofacial doctor.

Through inspection, the clinic showed signs of not ensuring professional and technical operations, approved facilities, and not ensuring that its practitioners have a practice license or certificate to practice medical examination and treatment and are registered to practice at the Department of Health.

The inspection team requested the clinic to temporarily suspend medical examination and treatment activities until the incident was resolved.

At the same time, the clinic is required to have a written explanation of the facility's operations and provide any missing documents. The facility is only allowed to post medical examination and treatment services in accordance with the approved technical list.

In addition, the inspection team also required 3 staff members at this clinic to immediately stop providing medical examination and treatment without a practice license/practice certificate as prescribed.

The People's Committee of Hanh Thong Ward assigned the Department of Culture and Society to supervise the temporary suspension of the clinic's operations at the request of the inspection team.

On the same day, a representative of the Inspection and Legal Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that they had received the information and were processing it. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health will soon have official information today.

As Tuoi Tre Online reported earlier, in recent days, social networks have been sharing a clip of a woman wearing a white blouse attacking a customer right at a dental clinic.

Reporting to Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. TT (31 years old) said she was the customer in the video. According to Ms. T., at around 2:00 p.m. on September 3, Ms. T. and her friend went to Tuyet Chinh Dental Clinic. Previously, in April 2021, Ms. T. had braces here, but later discovered that she had bone loss and contacted the clinic many times to have her teeth checked again.

According to the clip provided by Ms. T., on September 3, while she was sitting on the sofa, a woman wearing a white blouse suddenly rushed out from inside holding a stick and put it on Ms. T.'s neck.

Then the woman dragged Ms. T. to the floor, smashed her phone and glasses and shouted "Get out of my house".

After that, Ms. T. and her friend left the dental clinic. Ms. T. is currently being treated at a hospital in the city due to soft tissue injuries.

Hanh Thong Ward Police have received and established an investigation file to verify and clarify the act of intentionally causing injury and other acts (if any).

The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Ministry of Health, on the same day also sent a document requesting the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health to report on the content related to the incident of medical staff at Tuyet Chinh Dental Clinic assaulting a patient.
