The award ceremony of the first “Green - Clean - Beautiful Medical Facility” Contest took place on the evening of August 7, 2025 at the Vietnam - Soviet Union Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi). 20 typical medical facilities nationwide were awarded certificates and honorary logos by the Ministry of Health .
The competition is organized according to 5 medical facilities: Central, provincial, district (now regional), commune and private medical facilities. Each level includes 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize and 1 consolation prize.

Notably, Son Kim 1 Commune Health Station in Cong Thuong village, Son Kim 1 commune, Ha Tinh province won second prize in the group of commune-level health facilities, becoming the only representative of Ha Tinh to be honored at this year's competition.
Located in the middle of a peaceful border mountainous area, Son Kim 1 Commune Health Station impresses with its neat campus, in harmony with nature, always taking care of every small detail, a friendly working environment and dedicated service style, creating a close and warm medical space.
The fact that Son Kim 1 Commune Health Station was honored is not only a source of pride for the Ha Tinh health sector but also a testament to the persistent efforts in building a green, clean, and beautiful medical environment, aiming at community satisfaction and health.

The “Green - Clean - Beautiful Medical Facility” contest was launched in August 2024, directed by the Department of Disease Prevention and Health & Life Newspaper, organized by the Ministry of Health, with the support of the vaccination system and Long Chau pharmacy. The contest quickly spread widely throughout the health sector, including public and private, from central to local levels, with more than 2,000 medical facilities across 34 provinces and cities participating.
According to the Organizing Committee, the rules and criteria for evaluating the participating units are strictly, objectively and impartially implemented, through 3 scoring parts: Medical facilities self-score according to the Ministry of Health's Green - Clean - Beautiful Medical Facility Criteria; based on actual videos of the medical facility as well as initiatives, if any; and based on the QR-code results that people scan and evaluate at the participating medical facility itself.
In particular, the participation of patients and their relatives in evaluating the green - clean - beautiful quality of medical facilities is a breakthrough point and a testament to the success of the contest and the application of digital transformation in the medical field. Nearly 350,000 patients, relatives and people participated in the survey and contributed their opinions via QR codes.
