17 orphans in Cam Xuyen attend "Aspiration" summer camp

17 orphans from Cam Xuyen district (Ha Tinh) are participating in the exciting and useful "Aspiration" summer camp in Hanoi .

The “Aspiration” Summer Camp is an annual activity organized by the Aspiration Fund. This fund was founded by Ms. Vu Thi Dung (Hanoi) on September 5, 2012. After 11 years of implementation, the fund has organized many meaningful activities for orphans in difficult circumstances in more than 30 provinces and cities nationwide.

Ha Tinh has 17 orphans from 5 communes and towns in Cam Xuyen district participating in the "Aspiration" summer camp.

In 2023, with the theme “Aspiration to Reach Far”, the “Aspiration” summer camp was held from July 1 to July 10 at the School of Management Staff of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Hanoi) for 244 children from 33 provinces and cities from Binh Thuan to the North. Ha Tinh alone had 17 orphans from 5 communes and towns in Cam Xuyen district participating.

The activity is connected by the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Cam Xuyen District and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of the district.

Participating in the summer camp, children are immersed in many meaningful activities such as: talk show "Protecting yourself in the online environment", "Journey to adulthood", visiting Hung Temple (Phu Tho) and many other team and group activities and games...

This is an opportunity for children to be educated about skills, life knowledge and the will to overcome difficulties, and spread love. Through this, it helps them expand their communication, creating motivation to overcome adversity and become useful people for the community and society.

In 2023, 244 children from 33 provinces and cities across the country participated.

Ms. Le Thi Thuy Ngoc - President of the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Cam Xuyen District said: "This is the first time the association has connected orphans in difficult circumstances in the area to participate in summer camp activities organized by the Aspiration Fund.

In addition to participating in the summer camp, this school year, 17 disadvantaged children received support from the fund of 600,000 VND/child/month and gifts on holidays, Tet, and books at the beginning of the school year. We are extremely grateful and express our gratitude to the founder of the fund and the volunteers who have devoted themselves to the children."
