Hanoi Medical University has just announced the list of 178 candidates who passed the entrance exam and are eligible for direct admission.

Among the candidates admitted directly to Hanoi Medical University, there are 19 students who are national excellent students in Literature, History, and Geography.

Hanoi Medical University has just announced the list of 178 candidates who passed the entrance exam and are eligible for direct admission. Of these, 128 students were admitted directly to the Faculty of Medicine; 20 students were admitted to the Faculty of Psychology, of which 19 were excellent students in Literature, History, and Geography; 16 students were admitted to the Faculty of Medicine at Thanh Hoa branch. The remaining faculties directly admitted from 1-5 students depending on the major.

Candidates who are admitted directly must confirm their admission online on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training before 5:00 p.m. on July 31.

In 2024, Hanoi Medical University will enroll students according to 4 methods: Direct admission, Admission based on high school graduation exam scores, Admission combining graduation exam scores with international language certificates, Admission based on Hanoi National University's competency assessment test scores (HSA).

With the admission method based on high school graduation exam results, for the first time, Hanoi Medical University recruits the D01 combination (Math, Literature, English) for Public Health and Psychology; C00 (Literature, History, Geography) for Psychology instead of only recruiting with the B00 combination (Math, Chemistry, Biology) as in previous years.

With the admission method combining graduation exam scores with international language certificates, the school only applies to the majors of Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing in advanced programs, in which IELTS must be 6.5 or higher; Nursing in advanced programs must be 5.0 or higher.

Also according to the school's announcement, tuition fees for the next school year range from 15 - 55.2 million VND/year, the highest being for Medicine and Traditional Medicine.

This year, Hanoi Medical University will enroll 1,720 students, an increase of 350 compared to last year due to the opening of three new majors: Psychology, Midwifery and Dental Prosthetics.

In addition to direct admission, the school considers high school graduation exam scores, combining graduation exam scores with international language certificates, and considering based on the competency assessment test scores of Hanoi National University. Tuition fees for the upcoming school year range from 15 to 55.2 million VND.

In 2023, the admission score of Hanoi Medical University based on high school graduation exam results ranges from 19 to 27.73. The Medical major has the highest admission score, the lowest is Nursing major at Thanh Hoa branch.
