3 billionaires ate fried chicken and drank beer, paying the entire bill for the customer
The world's top 3 tech billionaires suddenly appeared at a famous fried chicken restaurant in Seoul (South Korea) on the evening of October 30, surprising the diners. They then paid the entire bill for everyone present at the restaurant.
It was the presence of three billionaires Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia - the world's largest AI chip manufacturer, Lee Jae-yong, Chairman of Samsung Electronics and Chung Eui-sun, Executive Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group in a small restaurant located in Gangnam district to enjoy traditional fried chicken and beer.

Korean media reported that the three billionaires chose Kkanbu Chicken, a restaurant chain famous for its "chimaek" dish, a combination of fried chicken and beer, which is a familiar culinary symbol of Korea.
Appearing in his signature black leather jacket, billionaire Jensen Huang chatted comfortably with fans. He often left his table to personally bring food to passersby.
“I love fried chicken, love beer and really enjoy eating fried chicken and drinking beer with friends,” he joked to reporters.
The three billionaires' table was placed right next to the restaurant's large window, allowing passersby to easily see them clink glasses and raise their glasses arm in arm.
This is a very rare moment because normally leaders of large corporations (chaebol) in Korea like Mr. Lee and Mr. Chung are very secretive about their personal lives.

Just minutes later, the video of the dinner spread across Korean social media platforms and caused a storm.
It is known that in this special dinner, the 3 tech billionaires ordered 3 whole chickens with cheese sticks and beer. They paid a total bill of about 2.7 million won (nearly 50 million VND). This amount includes the payment for the food of other diners.
"From my observation, Mr. Jensen Huang was the one leading the conversation throughout the conversation. We did not know the identity of the guests so we prepared as usual except for cleaning more thoroughly. A day before serving the guests, we only found out who the group of guests would be," the owner revealed.

According to this person, 9 days before the meeting took place, he received a call to reserve a table from an employee of Nvidia Corporation. This person said that there would be 3 important guests attending the meal, but booked 7 tables, which made the restaurant owner feel strange.
Some of the restaurant’s staff said they were surprised to be able to directly serve the special group of guests. The three guests sat at a table, enjoying spicy fried chicken, drinking cold beer and chatting happily like any other normal diners.
Restaurants "crashed" due to sudden increase in customers
It is known that a portion of fried chicken "chimaek" at the restaurant costs from 15,000 won to 20,000 won (280,000-370,000 VND). The crispy fried chicken is marinated with spicy flavor so customers want to drink more beer to cool down.
Right after the special meal, the fried chicken restaurant was in a state of "crash" due to the sudden increase in customers. The cold beer fried chicken craze exploded, causing many diners and tourists who came to Korea on this occasion to drink at the restaurant to enjoy.

On the afternoon of October 31, when the restaurant just opened, dozens of customers rushed in, wanting to find the exact seat of the previous billionaires to experience. The phone to reserve a table kept ringing, making the atmosphere even more bustling.
The shortage was so severe that the fried chicken chain's flagship store in Suji County, Gyeonggi Province, announced it would be temporarily closing for two days, November 1 and 2.
"Due to the number of orders exceeding expectations, we have to temporarily close to ensure better service to customers. When we reopen, we are committed to providing quality and service that will satisfy customers," said a store representative.
