42 science and technology tasks at all levels have been deployed.

According to information from the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Tri province, from the beginning of 2024 to now, the province has implemented 42 science and technology tasks at all levels, including 21 tasks in the field of science and technology; 13 tasks in the field of social sciences and humanities; 8 tasks in the field of agricultural science.

Scientific and technological tasks are carried out according to a priority structure of applied research tasks in production, life, and new products that bring high added value. Focus on high-tech applied research, promote the widespread application of biotechnology in industries and fields. Strengthen the survey of facilities, guide organizations and individuals to apply and replicate scientific and technological results into practice.

According to the report of the Department of Science and Technology, in the first 9 months of 2024, the Department of Science and Technology also organized an Advisory Council to evaluate and accept the implementation results of 1 project under the National Rural and Mountainous Areas Program, 7 provincial-level science and technology tasks, 2 grassroots-level tasks; 1 science and technology task under the National Target Program on New Rural Construction.

In order to improve the quality of management of science and technology tasks in the province, and at the same time facilitate organizations and individuals in the implementation process, the Department of Science and Technology is also drafting a draft to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for promulgation of the Regulations on management of science and technology tasks at the provincial and grassroots levels in Quang Tri province.
