Minutes earlier, a man was shot and killed and another wounded in downtown Chicago, according to police. No arrests have been made in connection with this incident. Hours later, another man was shot and killed and a woman wounded in the Little Italy neighborhood. The cause of these incidents is still under investigation.
On June 3rd, there were at least six fatal shootings, resulting in a total of six deaths and two injuries. Additionally, there was a non-fatal shooting that day, in which a 16-year-old boy and a 28-year-old man were shot and assaulted by someone in a car, according to Chicago police. Authorities are investigating the motives for these shootings, and no arrests have been made.
On June 2nd, Chicago police reported that a 16-year-old girl was injured in a shooting in Austin. Additionally, there was a shooting targeting a car carrying four people, including two children. A 27-year-old man was shot in the back and a 32-year-old woman was shot in the right leg. The two children were unharmed. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
