A shooting that occurred early on the morning of November 10 (local time) at Tuskegee University in Alabama, USA, resulted in one death and 16 injuries, including 12 gunshot wounds.

CNN, citing Alabama law enforcement sources, reported in a social media post that the deceased was only 18 years old and not a student at Tuskegee University .
According to the agency, at least 16 people were injured in the incident, including at least 12 who were wounded by gunfire.
Tuskegee University said that many injured people, including its students, are being treated at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika and Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery. Authorities did not specify the exact number of injured or provide information about their condition.
It is currently unclear who fired the shots or what caused the incident. Police have also not announced any arrests.
The incident occurred when a large crowd gathered at the university Saturday night to celebrate Tuskegee's 100th week of welcoming new students. Law enforcement "secured the scene," and the Alabama Bureau of Investigation is investigating.
The FBI has joined the investigation into the shooting and said it is seeking information from the public, as well as any video footage that may be available. The agency has set up an online website for people to upload videos.
