600 women will perform Ao Dai at the 2025 Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival

The Standing Committee of the Hanoi Women's Union has just issued Plan No. 217/KH-BTV on organizing a large-scale Ao Dai performance with the theme "Women of the Capital - Integration and Development".

The event was held within the framework of the Hanoi Ao Dai Tourism Festival 2025, practically welcoming the success of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, the 18th Hanoi Fatherland Front Congress and the 17th Hanoi Women's Congress, term 2025-2030.

The program "Women of the Capital - Integration and Development" with the theme "Ao Dai Dance - Colors of Women of the Capital" will take place from 8am to 10am at Hanoi Museum, on Sunday morning, November 9, 2025.

The program is expected to attract about 600 people, with the participation of leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of the Hanoi Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee and representatives of relevant departments, branches and sectors. In particular, the event will also have the participation of Ao Dai designers, artists and member organizations along with a large number of cadres and members of the Capital's Women's Union.

The event not only honors the value of traditional ao dai and the beauty of women in the capital, but also contributes to promoting the image and tourism of Hanoi, aiming to make ao dai a Vietnamese cultural heritage.

The highlight of the program will be the performance of Ao Dai collections with the theme "Ao Dai Dance - Colors of Capital Women"; a folk dance performance with the medley "For Your Smile" and "Hanoi's Constructions".

The Standing Committee of the Hanoi Women's Union called on all levels of the grassroots Women's Union to actively practice and participate in performances, in order to create a strong impression, attracting a large number of cadres, members, and women in the capital to participate.
