The female military band members, with their drums, brass instruments, and flags in hand, and their synchronized steps to the beat, made the entire audience look up because of their impressive charisma. In particular, many female soldiers in the military band carried large brass instruments, weighing from 14-18kg.

61 female military bands were selected from 18 units across the army to gather and practice for the opening ceremony of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024. These are also the female military bands that participated in the parade and march on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory in May 2024.

Commenting on the 61 female military band members in the opening rehearsal of the International Defense Exhibition on the afternoon of December 17, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, Deputy Minister of National Defense , affirmed that the 61 members of the military band today were "very beautiful and very majestic".
