In the first nine months of 2024, the total number of tourists and vacationers in Ninh Thuan province exceeded 3.2 million, an increase of 20% compared to the same period last year, reaching 100.1% of the plan.

Of these, the number of overnight visitors and resort guests is estimated at 2.3 million, the number of sightseeing visitors is estimated at 904,000; international visitors are estimated at 87,000 (an increase of 193.9% compared to the same period last year, reaching 87% of the plan). Social income from tourism activities is estimated at 3,662 billion VND. Accommodation and tourism services in the province have been quite bustling since the beginning of the year, especially during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year), with room occupancy rates reaching 90-100%.

State management of tourism service businesses continues to be strengthened. Currently, there are 213 tourist accommodation establishments in the province, with 4,706 rooms. State management of travel agency activities has been enhanced; regular guidance and reminders are given to tourist areas and destinations on serving visitors to ensure safety conditions, especially during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year). Coordination with the Tourism Association and travel businesses in the province is underway to review and verify information on tour guide cards, ensuring their use complies with legal regulations.
