Leveraging tourism strengths
During this year's National Day holiday, tourism businesses have leveraged their unique strengths to attract domestic and international tourists to visit and experience the area.
In Thuan Nam district, the Jeep tour service exploring the sand dunes attracts many tourists during holidays. Along the southern coastal road of the province, in Phuoc Dinh commune, there are currently four businesses offering Jeep tours of the sand dunes. Each day, these businesses welcome and serve hundreds of visitors, including both group tours and independent travelers. Sharing his feelings after an hour exploring the sandy coastal roads of Mui Dinh in a Jeep, Dinh Hoang Anh from Hanoi said: "It felt so comfortable and exciting. I love the spacious Jeeps with their powerful engines and classic design. As a guy, I found it enjoyable to see the vehicle traversing the rough, winding roads."

Traveling to the sand dunes of Mui Dinh by Jeep, tourists have the opportunity to stand on dunes dozens of meters high, enjoy the cool sea breeze, and take in the panoramic views of the sea and mountains. In addition, it's also a chance for those who love thrilling activities to participate in sandboarding. Mr. Doan Ngoc Thai, owner of the Nang Mui Dinh off-road vehicle service business, said: "Our company has more than 10 vehicles, and during holidays, we operate continuously from morning to evening, transporting and serving tourists. Most customers find the experience very enjoyable."
In Ninh Phuoc district, most visitors concentrate on eco-tourism destinations, especially the Bau Truc pottery village in Phuoc Dan town. They come here to learn about and experience the art of Cham pottery making, a cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO.

Ms. Nguyen Truc Nhu Quynh, a tourist from Lam Dong, said: "I've known about the pottery making in Bau Truc for a long time, but only now have I had the chance to see it firsthand. Indeed, the pottery products here are diverse and abundant. The art of handmade pottery is also very unique." Mr. Phu Huu Minh Thuan, Director of the Bau Truc Cham Pottery Cooperative, added: "During holidays, the cooperative's exhibition hall welcomes many groups of visitors from all over the country. Visitors can tour and experience the craft for free." According to representatives of tourism service businesses, even during holidays, prices remain the same or are only slightly adjusted, about 10% lower than usual.
The trend of tourists seeking nature experiences is increasing. Recognizing this, ecotourism destinations in Bac Ai district have been invested in and developed, creating a diverse range of sightseeing and recreational activities for visitors. In Phuoc Binh commune, to meet the needs of tourists for sightseeing and relaxation, the local authorities have made efforts to improve the quality and diversify services to welcome visitors. Wooden stilt houses, gardens planted with flowers and greenery to create a peaceful atmosphere, combined with fruit tree cultivation for visitors to explore and experience, are ideas that many families in the community tourism village of Hanh Rac 2 have invested in to welcome tourists to Phuoc Binh. Mr. Katơr Chinh, from Hành Rạc 2 village, said: "Over the three-day holiday, my family welcomed a large number of tourists to visit our fruit garden and dine at our stilt house. Ten of them registered to stay overnight at our stilt house, which helped us earn extra income during the holiday."

Besides the familiar tourist destinations in Ninh Son district, this holiday season, Cham Charm Ninh Thuan, a newly opened tourist spot of the Lam Son Agricultural Tourism Cooperative, also attracted a large number of visitors for fun and experiences. Spanning over 3 hectares, Cham Charm Ninh Thuan is designed with a close-to-nature atmosphere, featuring lush greenery, rivers, and a blend of modern and rural elements. It offers numerous traditional games and experiential activities on land and in water, suitable for all ages. Here, adventurous visitors can "transform" into professional racers by cycling across a small wooden bridge. For a more relaxed and less risky experience, visitors can paddleboard, floating on the stream and admiring the natural scenery of the mountains and forests. There are also many other activities such as: playing on a swinging bridge and falling into the water, zip-lining over the lake, and experiencing off-road vehicles...
Tourist Nguyen Tuong Vy (Phan Rang - Thap Cham City) shared: "The close connection with nature and the hands-on experiences have added a fresh and lively atmosphere, so my whole family was both curious and delighted to come here." Tran Minh Hieu, also from Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, said: "I tried many games, and I must say it was a very interesting and fun experience. The space here is also airy and cool; if I have the chance, I will definitely invite more friends to come back."

Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa, Director of Lam Son Agricultural Tourism Cooperative (Ninh Son), said: "Recognizing that the current tourism trend is not simply about exploring a place with sightseeing and admiring the scenery, but that tourists are also looking for practical experiences, the cooperative has built many recreational areas for tourists to enjoy. To serve tourists well during the National Day holiday, the cooperative has spent time early planning and organizing activities meticulously, especially ensuring a sufficient staff to serve guests thoughtfully and attentively."
Heading towards Phan Rang - Thap Cham, with its unique and mysterious architecture and convenient location within the city, the Po Klong Garai Tower complex remains a favorite destination for many tourists during the National Day holiday. Ms. Hua Thi Thu Suong, a tour guide at the Po Klong Garai Tower complex, shared: "This year's holiday in Ninh Thuan has beautiful weather and improved transportation, especially after the opening of the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway. The number of tourists visiting the complex is higher than in previous years. Most visitors are individual travelers and family groups from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Lat, South Korea, etc."

With the desire to provide an enjoyable and satisfying experience for visitors, the management board of the historical site also focuses on ensuring security and order during the holiday; souvenir stalls improve their service attitude and friendly behavior towards tourists. To stimulate tourism, the unit reduces the price of electric tram rides to visit the tower and provides free guided tours upon request.
In the coastal tourist areas of Binh Son - Ninh Chu, to welcome visitors, before and during holidays, staff at resorts and hotels along the beach intensified environmental sanitation, collecting waste to clean the beaches, creating a good impression and satisfying tourists. Besides swimming and relaxing, many tourists also enjoyed experiencing various beach activities such as electric bicycles on the water and paddleboarding to admire the scenery. Throughout the city's streets and residential areas, the vibrant colors of the red flag with a yellow star and slogans celebrating the August Revolution and National Day shone brighter. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuyen, a tourist from Quang Ngai, shared: "The cool weather, being immersed in nature, and enjoying delicious fresh seafood made me even more proud and appreciative of Independence Day. Seeing the bright red flags along both sides of Yen Ninh road, I felt that Ninh Thuan is not only beautiful because of its nature but also because of the deep patriotism of its people."

Heading towards Vinh Hy, with its many ideal tourist attractions and resorts such as Thai An Grape Village, Hang Rai Cave, Vinh Hy Bay... along the northern coastal road in Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan attracts many tourists to visit and experience. At Hang Rai Cave, during holidays, a large number of tourists gather to visit, take souvenir photos, and witness firsthand the majestic beauty of the ancient coral reef and the pristine beauty of the landscape. Mr. Tran Hung and his family from Ho Chi Minh City shared: "This is my second time visiting Ninh Thuan, and I find there are many beautiful sights here, and the people are very friendly and hospitable."
Accommodation establishments are operating at 90-100% capacity.
To ensure security and safety, and to prepare well for serving tourists during the National Day holiday on September 2nd, contributing to promoting Ninh Thuan as a safe and attractive tourist destination, the implementation of relevant documents has been carried out strictly and consistently according to the directives of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Vietnam National Tourism Administration. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with businesses, accommodation establishments, and media agencies, has intensified efforts to promote the image, people, and tourism potential of the province to domestic and international tourists, aiming to attract visitors during the holiday.
This year's National Day holiday on September 2nd lasted four days, and the rainy weather affected tourism and entertainment activities. However, promotional programs at service businesses were abundant and diverse; most tourists booked rooms a month in advance. This year, with approximately 4,706 rooms available, according to preliminary reports from businesses, almost all accommodation establishments achieved 90-100% occupancy on August 31st and September 1st. Tourism businesses in the province made good preparations in terms of facilities and equipment to serve tourists. In addition, some tourism businesses invested in and renovated many tourist attractions for the holiday, contributing to diversifying tourism types and promoting the image of tourism. The organization of tours and destinations to serve the National Day holiday on September 2nd is quite bustling.
