980 delegates attended the National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union

Kinhtedothi - On December 15, the Vietnam Youth Union held a press conference to inform about the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024 - 2029.

Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Kim Quy said that the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024 - 2029, will take place from December 17 to 18 at the National Convention Center ( Hanoi ) with the participation of 980 official delegates who are cadres, members, and outstanding youth in various fields at home and abroad. The solemn session of the congress will take place on the morning of December 18.

The Congress's slogan is Vietnamese Youth: Patriotism - Aspiration - Solidarity - Pioneering - Creativity - Confidence in entering the new era.

The Congress will review and evaluate the work of the Association and the youth movement in the 8th term; develop goals, tasks, and solutions for the work of the Association and the youth movement in the 9th term (2024 - 2029); report on the amendment and supplementation of the Charter of the Vietnam Youth Union; consult and elect the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the Central Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union for the 9th term.

The slogan of the congress is Vietnamese Youth: Patriotism - Aspiration - Solidarity - Pioneering - Creativity - Confidence in entering the new era.

According to the Standing Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Kim Quy, the 9th National Congress will have many new points, notably the program design. The Congress will have a special speech with the participation of many delegates representing many classes of youth such as young doctors, armed forces, young artists, young entrepreneurs...

Within the framework of the congress, in addition to the agenda, delegates will visit the Vietnam Military History Museum; offer incense at the Bac Son Monument for Heroes and Martyrs; attend a ceremony to report achievements and visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum...

After the congress, on December 21, the Association's chapters at all levels nationwide simultaneously organized programs and activities to celebrate the success of the congress.
