ACCA cooperates with VIB to improve the quality of human resources in the banking industry

Within the framework of the ACCA Asia- Pacific Forum organized by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), on the afternoon of May 28, ACCA and Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VIB) signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.

This MOU marks the beginning of a series of activities aimed at not only enhancing VIB's human resource capacity, but also providing opportunities for connection and knowledge sharing, contributing to the sustainable development of VIB in particular and the Vietnamese banking industry in general.

Mr. Tran Tuan Minh, Director of Human Resources at VIB Bank, said that with the vision of "Becoming the most innovative and customer-centric bank in Vietnam", VIB recognizes that human resources are a key factor in its sustainable development strategy. "This focus helps us pioneer technological advances, lead the market in key business segments and affirm our position as the leading retail bank in Vietnam," he said.

According to Mr. Minh, becoming an ACCA accredited partner is a concrete demonstration of VIB's employee-oriented human resource development strategy, with our training policies and systems integrating targeted training content directly into the work process, helping employees quickly grasp the knowledge and skills needed to work effectively. VIB also promotes a culture of proactive and continuous learning, conducting annual assessments combined with coaching to help employees develop and improve themselves.

VIB's investment in human resource development focuses on high-quality initiatives according to international standards, including training systems with modern learning platforms and comprehensive content, as well as cooperation with globally reputable organizations.

Mr. Tran Tuan Minh affirmed that ACCA's cooperation will bring significant benefits to both organizations, helping both sides achieve significant successes in the future.

Agreeing, Mr. Ren Varma, Director of ACCA Southeast Asia, affirmed that today's cooperation signing event "will lead us to a common future of harmony, prosperity and success for VIB, ACCA and for all our partners".

“We can look forward to many more joint events in the future, as we promote joint business programmes and organise workshops, training events and learn from each other’s extensive expertise and experience,” said Mr. Ren Varma.
