The seminar provided a comprehensive picture of the role of AI in areas ranging from real estate business, human resource management, manufacturing and green growth planning. Speakers: Mr. Phan Dinh Tue, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA), Chairman of Nghe Tinh Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Tran Van Chin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arobid Technology Joint Stock Company; Mr. Pham Thanh Hung, Chairman of the Investment Council of Columbus SV Partner Fund, Vice President of CenGroup, Founder of AIchot.vn platform; Mr. Nguyen Cong Thuy - CEO and Senior Consultant of JobTest Company Limited and Mr. Mai Quoc Binh, Chairman of Paper World Joint Stock Company.

From the question, “Is AI a natural technology trend or a mandatory factor for businesses to survive and develop?”, the speakers all agreed that, in the context of increasingly fierce global competition, AI is not only a support tool but has become a key driving force for businesses to optimize processes, improve efficiency and create new values.
Mr. Pham Thanh Hung, with experience leading CenGroup and founding AIchot.vn - a platform applying AI in real estate, shared: “AI not only helps businesses save time and costs but also opens up opportunities to personalize customer experiences. At CenGroup, we use AI to analyze market data, predict real estate trends and provide more accurate advice to customers. AIchot.vn is proof that AI can create practical value, helping customers find suitable real estate in just a few seconds. Applying AI is no longer an option, but a prerequisite for businesses to compete in the digital age.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Thuy, with his experience as CEO of JobTest Company, provided his perspective on the application of AI in the field of human resource management. Mr. Thuy shared: “AI is changing the way we recruit and develop talent. JobTest uses AI algorithms to objectively evaluate candidates' abilities, minimizing errors due to human factors. For example, our system can analyze thousands of profiles in a short time, thereby suggesting candidates that best suit the requirements of the business. Mr. Thuy also emphasized that AI does not replace humans, but supports humans to work more effectively, especially in building long-term human resource strategies.

Sharing at the seminar, Mr. Tran Van Chin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arobid Technology Joint Stock Company, the developer of the first “green” B2B e-commerce trading floor in Vietnam - EcoHub, said: “EcoHub is built on the principle of “integrate first – standardize first – act first”. The floor integrates AI to optimize the supply chain in the renewable energy, green transportation, and sustainable materials industries. AI helps us analyze big data, predict market demand, and support businesses to achieve ESG (environmental, social, and governance) criteria. According to Mr. Chin, AI is currently an indispensable tool for Vietnam to achieve the goal of green growth and sustainable development.

Regarding applications in the paper and consumer products industry , Mr. Mai Quoc Binh, Chairman of The Gioi Giay Company, said that his company uses AI to optimize the production process, from raw material management to market demand forecasting. For example, AI algorithms help predict the amount of paper needed to produce based on historical data and consumption trends, thereby reducing waste and increasing economic efficiency. In the context of fierce competition, businesses that do not apply AI will find it difficult to maintain their position in the market.
Regarding the role of policy in promoting AI application, Mr. Phan Dinh Tue, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA), Chairman of the Nghe Tinh Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City is pioneering in supporting businesses in digital transformation and high-tech application. HUBA and the Nghe Tinh Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City are committed to accompanying businesses in accessing AI, from human resource training to connecting with technology partners. Mr. Tue also called for cooperation between the government, businesses and research institutes to create a sustainable AI ecosystem, helping Vietnam catch up with global trends.

The speakers also candidly discussed the challenges of AI adoption, including initial investment costs, shortages of high-quality human resources, and ethical and data security issues. However, all agreed that these are obstacles that can be overcome with a long-term strategy and close cooperation between parties.
The speakers also stated that AI is not an option, but an inevitable part of the future. Any business that is slow to adopt AI will be left behind. Vietnam has a great opportunity to become a regional AI hub, but this requires strong determination and investment from both the country and businesses.
