During the inspection, the following items were seized: 469 plastic cans (4-liter cans) containing a black liquid product with a fish sauce smell; 4 plastic drums containing a liquid product with a laundry detergent or fabric softener smell, with a total capacity of more than 3,000 liters; 120 bags of fabric softener labeled Hygiene, 1,100ml, made in Thailand; 780 black plastic bottles, 6,521 plastic bags of various types printed with the Hygiene brand and 2 liquid filling machines, along with many other chemicals...

Tam confessed to working as a salesman and retailer of groceries (milk, cakes, beer, laundry detergent, fish sauce, etc.) for large companies and distributors in the old An Giang province and hired Dang Van Thua to help Tam deliver the goods.

During his work, Tam came up with the idea of ​​producing fake laundry detergents and fish sauces of popular brands on the market for the purpose of making illegal profits. Tam rented a house in Group 7, Tay Khanh 5 Hamlet, My Hoa Ward, Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province (old) to produce fake goods and hired a person to help produce fake laundry detergents and fish sauces.

Tam went online to learn how to mix laundry detergent and sauce and ordered chemicals and more than 6,500 pre-printed laundry detergent bags following the product lines of the Thai Hygiene brand. Then, he bought additional tools such as barrels, filling machines, etc. and proceeded to mix and produce laundry detergent, fabric softener and sauce according to the methods he learned online to sell.
