On November 4, the 4th Tax Department under An Giang Provincial Tax Department launched the "60 peak days of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households" in 9 communes managed by the 4th Tax Department.

This peak period is implemented according to Decision No. 3389/QD-BTC, dated October 6, 2025 of the Ministry of Finance on approving the Project "Converting the model and method of tax management for business households when eliminating lump-sum tax" and the plan of An Giang Provincial Tax.

The 4th Tax Department has developed a plan to coordinate with local authorities to disseminate, guide declarations and install electronic tax applications. At the same time, coordinate with local authorities and network operators to organize conferences to deploy the main contents of converting tax management models and methods for business households when eliminating lump-sum taxes for more than 150 business households in 9 communes managed by the 4th Tax Department.

Deputy Head of Tax Department 4 Nguyen Thanh Dien said that the peak campaign aims to create a strong change in awareness and action, helping business households get familiar with the model of declaring and paying taxes according to actual revenue. Tax Department 4 has established 3 working groups to coordinate with the People's Committees of 9 communes: Hon Dat, Binh Giang , My Thuan, Binh Son, Son Kien , Kien Luong, Hoa Dien , Son Hai and Hon Nghe to directly guide, support and answer questions of business households...

During the working process, tax officers coordinate with representatives of solution providers to guide business households in using electronic invoices generated from cash registers, opening bank accounts for business operations and declaring taxes via eTax Mobile , ensuring proper procedures and convenience for taxpayers.

According to the Project "Converting tax management models and methods for business households when eliminating lump-sum tax", lump-sum tax will be officially eliminated from January 1, 2026, business households will switch to a new tax management method based on actual revenue, self-declaration, self-payment of tax, and self-responsibility according to the law.

An Giang Provincial Tax Department and local tax authorities will accompany each other throughout to guide, train and provide documents to help business households understand and comply with regulations. This is an important preparatory step for An Giang to complete 100% of the tax model conversion before December 30, 2025, ensuring that by January 1, 2026, all business households in the area will completely convert to contract households, operating in a new, more transparent, fair and modern way.
