According to the forecast of the Southern Region Hydrometeorological Station, on December 24, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and the South will be affected by the continental cold high pressure that will continue to strengthen and diffuse to the South. The subtropical high pressure will retreat to the East.

The tropical depression moves in the West-Northwest direction, then gradually changes direction to the Southwest. The Northeast wind operates with strong intensity in the sea area of ​​the Southeast region.

The weather in Ho Chi Minh City after December 24 will be mostly cloudy to partly cloudy, sunny during the day; scattered showers, moderate rain in some places, and the possibility of heavy rain and thunderstorms in some places. During thunderstorms, be on guard against tornadoes, whirlwinds and strong gusts of wind.

In addition, in the early morning, there is light fog in some places with the lowest temperature of 21 degrees Celsius and the highest of 31 degrees Celsius.

In general, in the next few days, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and the South will continue to have rain. Rain in the area will gradually decrease from December 28 onwards.

Mr. Le Dinh Quyet, Head of the Forecast Department of the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, commented: Storm No. 10 appeared at the end of the year in accordance with the laws and activities of atmospheric circulation, there is nothing unusual; the storm is likely to reduce its level to a tropical depression and then a low pressure area, and by December 25 it will dissipate at sea and not directly affect the mainland.
