The Prime Minister chaired the meeting of the National Steering Committee on Semiconductor Industry Development.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh noted that digital transformation is very broad, but the core is the research and development of artificial intelligence based on data; Vietnam's artificial intelligence must be based on Vietnamese data.

Minister and Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son delivered a speech.

Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, presented a summary report for the first meeting of the National Steering Committee on Semiconductor Industry Development.
