Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision 1176/QD-TTg on October 12 appointing Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs .

New Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang

Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang was born in 1976 in Hanoi , graduated with a bachelor's degree in international relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and a master's degree in international relations in the UK.

New Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang began her diplomatic career in 2000 and has held many positions related to the international integration process, multilateral diplomacy, and economic diplomacy serving national development.

Ms. Hang has held the following positions: Deputy Director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation (Ministry of Foreign Affairs); Minister Counselor, Embassy of Vietnam in Singapore; Deputy Director, APEC 2017 National Secretariat; Acting Director, then Director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation; Assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director of the Department of General Economics.

Currently, Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang is a member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.

Currently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has 5 deputy ministers including: Ms. Le Thi Thu Hang, Nguyen Minh Hang and Messrs. Nguyen Minh Vu, Ha Kim Ngoc, and Do Hung Viet./.
