Ba Ria - Vung Tau: 57 prisoners were granted amnesty on April 30

On April 30, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police said that with the motto of not letting any eligible prisoner go without amnesty, immediately after the President's decision on amnesty in 2025, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police proactively advised the Provincial People's Committee to deploy the amnesty work in 2025 to departments, branches, sectors, unions and People's Committees of districts and cities in the province.

On March 7, 2025, the Steering Committee for Amnesty of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police met to review and propose 57 eligible prisoner files to submit to the Amnesty Advisory Council for approval.

On May 1, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police will organize the announcement ofthe President 's decision to grant amnesty on the occasion of April 30, 2025 for the above 57 prisoners.
