Modern technology blends traditional colors
Entering the exhibition area of Bac Ninh province at the Exhibition, visitors feel like they are lost in a unique cultural area. The space opens up not only with artifacts and visual display materials but is mainly guided through modern projection technology, multi-layered lighting, subtle color changes and intelligent narration, creating strong visual effects and cultural emotions.

The first highlight is in the central area, which is the image of the legendary Cau River associated with the life, music and soul of Kinh Bac countryside, simulated by a giant LED screen. The shimmering water flow, moving smoothly combined with an automatic rotating sand table, recreates the two cultural banks connecting the past - present - future. Above, the stylized dome from the image of the conical hat of the Quan Ho singer with a diameter of 10 m is both aesthetic and evokes a sense of closeness and sacredness. On an area of 345 m², 6 exhibition rooms are designed in zigzag subdivisions with LED walls facing the center according to specific themes: Bac Ninh in the flow of national history; achievements in politics , economy, science - technology, culture - society and national defense - security; Bac Ninh people are dynamic, creative and have aspirations to reach far. The image of the phoenix wings on the LED screen is the clearest representation of the presence of stage art in the exhibition space. The phoenix wings are both a real element and a profound artistic thought. The 6 interconnected areas facing the main center with the phoenix wings as the pedestal are the 6 achievements that contribute to creating a Bac Ninh province rich in tradition. The wings represent the aspiration to rise in the new era of this land. Visitors seem to see the whole Kinh Bac region wrapped in symbolic architecture; under the skillfully calculated light, each area appears like a vivid painting.
A place to display achievements in industrial, commercial and agricultural development using lighting technology to create a sense of movement and vivid transformation. A place to introduce cultural heritage, films and images of Quan Ho, Dau Pagoda, Phat Tich Pagoda, and traditional craft villages appear charmingly. Technology and heritage blend together, making viewers both amazed by the modernity and calmed by the depth of a thousand-year culture. Ms. Dang Cam Ha in Kim Lien Ward (Hanoi) commented: "Bac Ninh's exhibition space attracts me with light, music and images. Modern projection technology leads me to a traditional cultural space, helping me feel the unique value and sophistication of the heritages of this land".
Along with displaying artifacts and visual models, the space also creates conditions for visitors to interact. Just by touching the touch screen, visitors can explore the journey from the ancient land of Luy Lau - which used to be a cultural center - to the dynamic wards of Thuan Thanh, Mao Dien, Ninh Xa... today; from Quan Ho melodies along the Cau River to the modern life of the industrial zones of Yen Phong and Que Vo. According to the painter, People's Artist Dat Tang - the designer of the exhibition space, his creative passion and his colleagues want to turn Bac Ninh's exhibition space into a vivid experience journey, not just a place to preserve artifacts. This will be a "miniature Bac Ninh" for visitors to feel the harmony between tradition and modernity, between heritage and today's achievements.
The mark of achievements and aspirations spread from the heritage land
The exhibition space of the province does not stop at visual elements but also tells a complete story about the journey of construction and development. Each booth is a chapter in the “Bac Ninh book” - from the heroic history to the present with aspirations and a bright future.
The exhibition of national achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" was held from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center (Hanoi) with an area of nearly 250,000 m², gathering the participation of central ministries and branches; provinces and cities nationwide; large corporations, enterprises and many international organizations. This is an opportunity to look back on the 80-year journey of building, protecting and developing the country under the leadership of the Party; an opportunity to honor comprehensive achievements in all fields, demonstrating the consensus, creativity and continuous efforts of the entire nation. At the same time, the exhibition also contributes to arousing national pride, educating patriotic traditions, and strengthening people's confidence in the country's development path. |
In the introduction of socio-economic achievements, instead of just placing tables of data, the functional unit designed a large screen to show 3D videos about industrial parks, new urban areas, key traffic routes, and the planned location of Gia Binh airport. This project is being focused on and will soon become a leading international airport in the Northern region, helping to connect directly with major economic centers at home and abroad, opening up favorable trade opportunities and boosting import and export. In addition, the figures on investment attraction and growth rate are illustrated by dynamic charts, making it easier for viewers to visualize and leave a deeper impression. The functional unit also cleverly integrated cultural and social achievements to highlight the province's position as rich in heritage and identity. The Quan Ho heritage exhibition area echoes the sweet melodies "Sitting on the boat's side", "Drifting duckweed and drifting clouds"... making many visitors stop for a long time. Phu Lang pottery village, Dong Ho paintings, Dong Ngu water puppetry… are also present in this space. But instead of displaying static artifacts, Bac Ninh includes short films and vivid images of artisans making pottery, printing paintings, controlling puppets…
In particular, here visitors can see with their own eyes the woodblocks of Vinh Nghiem Pagoda - a documentary heritage of the Asia-Pacific Memory of the World Program with many typical prints and woodcuts. The artisans directly introduce and guide visitors to experience printing words on Do paper from woodblocks, including the "Cu Tran Lac Dao Phu" - one of the famous works of King Tran Nhan Tong, clearly expressing the ideology and values of Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhism. Along with that, the presence of hundreds of Dong Ho folk paintings at the exhibition also tells stories, philosophies of life, and humane messages about the desire for happiness that our ancestors conveyed through images, lines, and colors.
According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Trung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh, participating in the Exhibition, Bac Ninh considers this an important opportunity to introduce outstanding achievements, and at the same time promote the image of Bac Ninh to domestic and international friends. Therefore, each document and each image is carefully selected and presented using modern technology to create both a visual impression and arouse cultural depth. Through that, it is also an invitation for domestic and international friends to experience the heritage land.
The exhibition space of Bac Ninh at the National Achievements Exhibition is truly a journey of experiencing art-culture-technology. There, light, color, sound, and images are skillfully combined to surprise and delight visitors. The greatest success is that Bac Ninh has known how to turn the exhibition space into a vivid memory, spreading the value of heritage and affirming its position as a land of "flying dragons and dancing phoenixes", where Vietnamese cultural identity converges and shines.
