The Provincial Party Standing Committee works with the Provincial Party Inspection Committee

On March 14, the Provincial Party Standing Committee had a working session with the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee (PC) on the situation and results of the implementation of inspection and supervision work in 2023 and the direction and tasks for 2024. Comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting. Attending were comrades: Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches.

In 2023, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission has performed well its advisory function to help the Provincial Party Committee deploy tasks and powers on inspection and discipline enforcement in the Provincial Party Committee according to the Party Charter; carry out regular, ad hoc, and arising tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. Specifically, it advised the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to issue 3 inspections and 6 supervisions according to Article 30 of the Party Charter and 13 inspections and 3 supervisions according to Article 32 of the Party Charter. Inspections were conducted when there were signs of violations against 4 party members (DV) and 5 party organizations (TCĐ). Through inspections, it was proposed that the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee discipline 3 cases; the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission discipline 1 TCĐ and 11 related Party members with violations. In addition, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission also issued a Plan to review and overcome shortcomings and violations according to Conclusion Notice No. 533-TB/UBKTTW dated October 2, 2023 of the Central Party Committee's Inspection Commission. Summarize and report the results of overcoming and correcting shortcomings and limitations after self-criticism and criticism in 2022 according to Plan No. 177-KH/TU dated December 26, 2022 of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee. Report on the implementation of the Party's Charter; report on inspection and discipline enforcement in the Party during the mid-term of 2020-2025; report summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 33-CT/TW dated January 3, 2014 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership in declaring and controlling asset declaration. Instruct the Inspection Committees of district, city and affiliated Party Committees on some contents of professional work of inspection and supervision to effectively organize implementation at their level.

Regarding the tasks in 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission focuses on implementing the issued inspection program; at the same time, presides over and coordinates with the Provincial Party Committee Office to monitor and urge the implementation of the plan to overcome shortcomings and violations pointed out in the Conclusion Notice No. 533-TB/UBKTTW of the Central Party Committee's Inspection Commission. Coordinates with the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board to advise on the rotation of officials of the Inspection sector. Strengthens inspection of Party committees, trade unions, and heads of Party committees on the performance of assigned duties and tasks. Coordinates with the Provincial Police Party Committee, the Provincial Inspectorate and other law enforcement agencies to grasp the activities of trade unions and trade unions, especially the implementation of legal policies in land management, investment, energy, outstanding issues, urgent public opinions, and concerns according to the Party's regulations.

Concluding the working session, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission and the entire sector for actively advising and effectively implementing the Party's inspection and supervision work in the past time; all aspects of work were generally of high quality and had made much progress, contributing significantly to the Party building and rectification work in the spirit of the Central's direction. Directing the inspection and supervision work from now until the end of the Provincial Party Congress term, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission to continue to closely follow the leadership and direction of the Central and Provincial Party Committees to advise and organize the effective implementation of the proposed inspection and supervision contents; actively coordinate with relevant agencies to further strengthen the Party's inspection and supervision work to serve the work of preparing personnel for Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term as well as the work of supervising the Party and managing cadres and Party members of the Provincial Party Committee. Carry out the rotation of provincial inspection staff to ensure it is appropriate to the tasks and realities of the sector and locality. Focus on fostering ethics, political mettle, improving professional skills and expertise, and building a team of provincial inspection staff that can meet the requirements and assigned tasks.
