The Vietnamese Sports Delegation rose to 4th place in the medal tally of the 32nd SEA Games, after winning 9 gold medals on the competition day of May 7.

The Vietnamese Sports Delegation won 9 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 5 bronze medals on the competition day yesterday (May 7) at the 32nd SEA Games. This achievement helped the Vietnamese Sports Delegation rise to 4th place on the medal tally of the 32nd SEA Games.

According to the SEA Games 32 medal tally announced by the Organizing Committee after May 7, host Cambodia is leading with 29 gold medals. The Thai Sports Delegation has the same 16 gold medals as Indonesia, but is ranked higher due to the higher number of silver medals (17 compared to 11).

Chasing behind the Vietnamese Sports Delegation on the SEA Games 32 medal tally are the delegations of the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar and Laos.

Currently, all delegations participating in the 32nd SEA Games have won medals. However, Brunei and Timor Leste are the two sports delegations that have not won any gold medals at this event./.
