December 13th promises to be one of the most exciting days of competition for the Vietnamese sports delegation, with athletics alone awarding 11 sets of medals. The spotlight is on the women's 5,000m race, where Nguyen Thi Oanh is expected to continue asserting her position, alongside her teammate Le Thi Tuyet.
In other events, Luong Duc Phuoc and Sam Van Doi are two notable names in the men's 800m race, while Ngan Ngoc Nghia will compete in the men's 200m. The mixed 4x400m relay team, consisting of Hoang Thi Minh Hanh, Le Ngoc Phuc, Nguyen Thi Hang, Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Vu Ngoc Khanh, and Ta Ngoc Tuong, is also expected to compete for medals.
The swimming competition featured six finals, with Vietnam's gold medal hopefuls including Nguyen Thuy Hien (women's 100m breaststroke), Nguyen Huy Hoang and Tran Van Nguyen Quoc (men's 200m freestyle), and Vo Thi My Tien (women's 400m individual medley).
