Accordingly, ABC Mundial reported that 49 years ago, at 11:30 a.m. on April 30, 1975, the flag of the Liberation Army flew over the roof of the Independence Palace, marking the complete collapse of the US imperialists and their puppet government in South Vietnam. The Ho Chi Minh Campaign was a complete victory, and Vietnam was unified.
Since then, Vietnam has been determined to move forward on the path of national reconstruction and development. Despite the challenges and lingering wounds of war, the Vietnamese people have strived to build the country. He said that the war in Vietnam was truly brutal, a war without limits on the front line, where civilians suffered every day, whether in the villages or the jungles. Nearly 1 million soldiers, more than 2 million Vietnamese civilians and more than 58,000 American soldiers were killed in the war.
