Man Utd have just finished a disappointing season, finishing 15th in the Premier League. Immediately after a 2-0 win over Aston Villa in the final round, Coach Amorim's team flew to Malaysia to prepare for a friendly match against the Southeast Asian All-Star team.

This special friendly match will take place at 7:45 pm tonight (May 28) at the 84,000-seat Bukit Jalil National Stadium (Malaysia). After that, Man Utd will continue their journey to Hong Kong (China) to compete with the Chinese team on May 30.
Meanwhile, the Southeast Asian Stars team under the leadership of coach Kim Sang Sik, consisting of 26 players from 10 Southeast Asian countries, including 4 Vietnamese players: Duy Manh, Hai Long, Van Vi and Hoang Duc, has also prepared for the upcoming match.
Before the match, Malaysia’s New Straits Times predicted a 2-1 victory for Man Utd. Explaining this prediction, the Malaysian newspaper stated: “Man Utd have had a disappointing season, the players have played weakly and lacked the spirit of a warrior.
However, considering the strength of both teams, the Red Devils are still better because they are competing in one of the toughest tournaments on the planet. Therefore, a close 2-1 victory would be a suitable result."
Similar to the Malaysian newspaper, the Indian newspaper Khel Now also predicted that the Southeast Asian Stars team could not avoid defeat. The difference in physical strength and level made Man Utd appear more dominant. However, coach Kim Sang Sik's team still scored two goals against the "Red Devils" with the final result of 2-4.
The US newspaper Yahoo Sport commented that Man Utd's inclusion of Alejandro Garnacho in this match confused many people because of his disappointing performance in recent matches.
However, with Mason Mount gradually regaining his form, the combination of these two players is expected by coach Amorim to bring an explosive attack. This newspaper predicts a 3-1 result for Man Utd.

The British newspaper The Standard also predicted a 3-1 result for Man Utd. The newspaper stated that Man Utd will use many young players in the squad in the early stages of the match and then replace the main players. Bruno Fernandes will play the role of "conductor" and will score in this match.
"The match between Man Utd and the Southeast Asian All-Stars is not only a friendly match, but also an opportunity for Southeast Asian players to demonstrate their abilities against the most prestigious team in the world .
Therefore, the whole team will try their best to play with dedication, bringing a beautiful match to the fans," The Standard commented.
