Dak Lak Newspaper gives Mid-Autumn gifts to children in sister villages

On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2023, on the afternoon of September 29, the Dak Lak Newspaper Youth Union coordinated with the Youth Union of Co.opmart Buon Ma Thuot Supermarket to organize the "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" program for children in Cuor Kap village (Hoa Thang commune, Buon Ma Thuot city) - a sister village of Dak Lak Newspaper.

Speaking at the program, on behalf of the Editorial Board, comrade Le Minh Thuoc, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Chairman of the Dak Lak Newspaper Trade Union sent best wishes to the children of Cuor Kap village on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival; at the same time, he hoped that the children would continue to make efforts and excel in their studies; the Party Committee and the Village Self-Management Board would create the best conditions for the children to develop both physically and mentally...

Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Chairman of Dak Lak Newspaper Trade Union Le Minh Thuoc gave a congratulatory speech to the children at the Program.

The representative of Cuor Kap Village Self-Management Board expressed his deep gratitude for the attention of Dak Lak Newspaper for the sister village, especially the meaningful gifts for the children on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival. Participating in the program, the children enjoyed the lion dance performed by the village's lion dance team; interacted with attractive cultural performances with many interesting prizes.

The children attending the program were happy and excited.

At the end of the program, representatives of the two units presented 430 gifts, including cakes, candies, and milk to the children of the twinned villages. The total value of the program was about 10 million VND. Although the value of the gifts was not much, it showed the concern of Dak Lak Newspaper and Co.opmart Buon Ma Thuot Supermarket for children in difficult circumstances and ethnic minority areas.

This is an annual activity maintained by the Dak Lak Newspaper Youth Union for many years to promote the vanguard spirit of union members and youth, contributing to strengthening the connection between the Dak Lak Newspaper agency and the Cuor Kap sister village. In recent times, Dak Lak Newspaper has regularly cared for and supported materially and spiritually, organized many meaningful programs and activities for the people in the village.
