This is a very strong storm, after entering the East Sea it continues to strengthen, the range of strong winds is very wide, to proactively prevent, avoid, and respond to storm Kalmaegi and post-storm floods in a timely manner, ensuring the safety of people's lives, minimizing property damage, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests:

Directors of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the following provinces and cities: Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa: Urgently overcome the consequences of floods, coordinate with functional agencies and local authorities to inspect, review, and support people and tourists still affected by floods, immediately deploy timely solutions and measures, ensure the safety of people and tourists in the soonest, most urgent, and most drastic spirit.

Focus on leadership, direction, organization, monitoring, and regularly updating the situation and developments of storms, anticipating all scenarios, not being passive or surprised, setting the highest level of vigilance, mobilizing all necessary resources, means, and materials to promptly and effectively deploy storm response work.

Prepare plans to evacuate people and tourists to safe places, coordinate with competent agencies and local authorities to review, count, organize, and guide ships and vehicles operating at sea to anchor and take shelter safely, not to enter or exit dangerous areas, and not to let them sink at shelters.

Based on the risk and level of impact of the storm, proactively decide or advise competent authorities to temporarily suspend festival, entertainment, and tourism activities in the area to ensure safety for people and tourists.

Inspect and review cultural and sports facilities, historical and cultural relics, scenic spots, tourist areas and spots in the area, especially those still affected by floods and storms, and immediately implement appropriate reinforcement and protection measures to ensure safety and maintain the integrity of the values of the facilities.

Direct press, radio, television and information agencies to regularly update and report on the situation and developments of storms, floods, inundation, flash floods, landslides so that people and tourists can clearly understand the situation and proactively respond to storms early and from afar.

Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry, within the scope of assigned functions and tasks, proactively coordinate closely with functional agencies, local authorities, and relevant agencies and units to organize timely and effective response work to ensure safety for people and property at agencies and units.

At the same time, inspect and review construction works and works under construction managed by the unit in areas at risk of being affected by storms, and direct contractors to immediately deploy protection, reinforcement, and safety assurance for the works.

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library focus on directing agencies, units and businesses in tourism and festival activities in localities at risk of being affected by storms to organize and implement specific storm response plans, not to be negligent or subjective, especially at sea, on islands and coastal areas, ensuring the safety of people and tourists before, during and after the storm.

The Press Department, the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, the Department of Grassroots Information and Foreign Information direct press, media, grassroots information, and mass media agencies from central to local levels to increase information on the developments of storms and floods to authorities and people at all levels to know and promptly prevent and respond to storms. In which, the content focuses on disseminating and instructing people on skills to respond to floods, landslides, and flash floods.

Directors of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Heads of units under the Ministry in the above-mentioned provinces and cities shall assign leaders and officers to organize 24/7 duty to monitor, update and organize timely response when situations occur in the area. Timely inform and report on the response situation, damage and storm recovery work in the management areas of the Industry before, during and after the storm to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (through the Ministry's Office) for synthesis and reporting to the Ministry's leaders.
