Dan Tri Newspaper won the A prize at the National Press Award for the financial sector.

(Dan Tri) - The work "Vietnam and the great changes thanks to the "eagle" capital flow" of Dan Tri newspaper won the A prize of the 9th National Journalism Award on Finance in 2025.

On the afternoon of July 21, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance (Hanoi), the Ministry of Finance held an award ceremony for the "9th National Journalism Award on the Finance Sector in 2025". The event was held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Finance Sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025).

Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang attended and presented the special prize. Also attending the award ceremony were Deputy Minister Nguyen Duc Chi - Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest; Deputy Minister Ho Sy Hung; Deputy Minister Tran Quoc Phuong.

Also attending were Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Thao - Deputy Director of the Press Department ( Ministry of Information and Communications ); Mr. Nguyen Gia Hung - Deputy Director of the Press and Publishing Department (Central Propaganda Department); journalist Le Viet Dong - Deputy General Director of the Government Electronic Information Portal; journalist Le Minh Toan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper; Major General Cao Sy Quy - National Defense Television; Dr. Pham Viet Dung - Director of the Communist Magazine.

This year, the Organizing Committee received about 2,750 entries covering all four types of journalism: print, radio, television, and electronic. The representative of the Ministry of Finance said that the quality of the entries was innovative, diverse in genre, rich in themes, closely following events, and addressing many new issues that have been and are being raised in the country's economic and financial development.

After the preliminary round results, the Organizing Committee judged the final round. As a result, the Final Round Council unanimously selected 1 Special Prize, 4 A Prizes, 20 B Prizes, 28 C Prizes for outstanding works.

The Special Prize was awarded to the author group: Cao Thi Thanh Tra, Vu Van Nhat of the News Department of Vietnam Television with a series of television reports: The Insurance Industry strives to support and compensate customers affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi).
