Economic & Urban Newspaper held a special session on the book of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and thoroughly grasped important regulations of the Central Committee and Hanoi City.

Kinhtedothi - On the morning of November 4, Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper organized a thematic meeting on the book "Building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; thoroughly grasping and continuing to implement important regulations of the Central Committee and Hanoi City.

At the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Loi - Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper conveyed some key contents in the book "Building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; thoroughly grasped Regulation No. 144-QD/TW dated May 9, 2024 of the Central Executive Committee "regulating revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period"; discussed the continued implementation of Directive 24-CT/TU dated August 7, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee "on strengthening discipline, discipline and responsibility in handling work in the political system of Hanoi City", Directive No. 30-CT/TU dated February 19, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee "on strengthening the leadership of the Party Committee to build elegant and civilized Hanoians".

Regarding the implementation of Plan No. 276-KH/TU, dated September 18, 2024 of the Hanoi Party Committee, Official Dispatch No. 180-CV/TGĐUK dated October 28, 2024 on organizing research, dissemination and propaganda of the book "Building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong national identity" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Editor-in-Chief of Economic and Urban Newspaper Nguyen Thanh Loi said that this is a meaningful book and is divided into 3 parts: Part I, culture is the soul of the Nation. Part II, comprehensive and synchronous development so that culture is truly an endogenous strength, a driving force for sustainable national development. Part III, from General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's cultural thesis to real life.

Specifically, Part I emphasizes the importance of culture to the country's development and the role of the Party in building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity. Late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong presented profound and comprehensive views on culture and pointed out specific directions to achieve this goal.

Part II delves into the implementation of specific policies to realize the goal of building an advanced Vietnamese culture. The late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong emphasized the importance of combining the preservation of traditional values with innovation. At the same time, he emphasized the role of education, culture, arts and media in building a civilized and prosperous country. In which, it was emphasized that the content of the Regulation sets out the context of the situation and requirements for Party building work on ethics; new and core points of the regulation and points that need attention for effective implementation.

The core content of the Regulation includes: 5 articles on revolutionary ethical standards; 19 criteria for evaluating the implementation of standards; 5 relationships and the obligations and responsibilities of cadres and party members in those relationships.

In which, the 5 articles on revolutionary ethical standards include: Article 1, patriotism, respect for the People, absolute loyalty to the Party and the Fatherland. Article 2, courage, innovation, creativity. Article 3, diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality. Article 4, solidarity, discipline, love, responsibility.
