Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups: Many activities to serve tourists on the occasion of National Day September 2

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups will organize many cultural activities to serve the people and tourists coming to Thai Nguyen during this year's holiday.

Coming to the Museum, visitors will visit the exhibition areas: Propaganda to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam September 2; thematic exhibition "Then - Soul of the mountains and forests" - Introducing the customs, beliefs and traditional costumes of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups; recreating the space of Then rituals, Then altars and artifacts...

In addition, the Museum also organizes performances of some Then ritual excerpts, Then stage performances... performed by artisans and artists from Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, and Lang Son .

The museum also cooperated with Viet Bac College of Culture and Arts; Binh Lieu Commune Service Center ( Quang Ninh Province); Vietnam Elite Association (France); a number of Then singing and folk singing clubs of Thai Nguyen and Lang Son, along with researchers, artisans, artists... to organize the Talk Show "Sac Then Viet Bac". The Talk Show will focus on two topics: "Stories about the subjects of Then Heritage" and "Then Heritage - The cool stream that flows forever".

In addition, the “Then in me” experience activity for students of all levels will also be a cultural highlight with a variety of activities such as: playing the Tinh instrument to the Then rhythm, wearing traditional costumes, Then costumes, painting, making mini Tinh instruments, masks… from cardboard.

Talkshows, exchanges, exhibitions, performances and experiences will take place from August 31 to September 2.
