"When enjoying a hotel buffet, it's important to choose wisely. Choose healthy breakfast options like eggs, vegetables, Greek yogurt with berries and avocado for good fats. Avoid high-calorie items like pastries, cereals and fruit juices," the expert says.

Experts also warn of the huge calorie content of popular holiday drinks such as wine, soft drinks and fruit juices.

He emphasized the importance of drinking plenty of water these days as people tend to forget to drink water when their living environment changes.

Expert Chris also suggests that you should prepare some healthy snacks such as nuts, cereal bars... to both "save" emergency situations during the trip and help you maintain regular meals, thereby controlling your food intake more effectively.

"Remember, the key to enjoying the holidays without ruining your diet is balance and moderation. It's okay to indulge occasionally, but be mindful of portion sizes and choose healthier options when possible," says the expert.
