The delegation met and worked with leaders of UNESCO; World Heritage Center; International Council of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), and some members of the World Heritage Committee to discuss the conservation and promotion of world heritage values; presented and defended the dossier nominating the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and landscape complex as a world heritage.
Nomination dossier to select 20 typical relics and relic clusters in the three provinces of Quang Ninh, Bac Giang and Hai Duong to submit to UNESCO for recognition as world heritage sites. Up to now, it has been proposed to reduce 8 relic sites located in Quang Ninh province, currently there are 12 relic sites, of which Bac Giang province has 2 relic sites: Vinh Nghiem pagoda, Tri Yen commune (Bac Giang city) and Bo Da pagoda, Tien Son commune (Viet Yen town).
Here, the leaders of the three provinces presented more specifically the nomination dossier to the leaders of UNESCO, ICOMOS and members of the World Heritage Committee to help international experts gain a deeper understanding of the value of the relic complex. From there, they will consider and prepare to present it at the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee scheduled to take place in July 2025.

Speaking at the meetings and working sessions, Comrade Mai Son emphasized: The Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and scenic complex is a collection of typical relics and scenic spots, related to the birth, spread and development of Truc Lam Buddhism in the three provinces of Quang Ninh, Bac Giang, Hai Duong. The nomination dossier was completed and submitted to UNESCO as a result of the dedication and efforts of the authorities and people of the three provinces, and the dedicated and responsible contributions of experts and scientists .
For Bac Giang province, the construction of the dossier of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and landscape complex to submit to UNESCO for recognition as a world heritage site has received special attention from the authorities and people in the province. During the process of building and completing the dossier, Bac Giang province has closely coordinated with Quang Ninh, Hai Duong provinces and other localities in providing information, documents, creating conditions and supporting experts and scientists to conduct field surveys in the locality. At the same time, it has carried out the renovation, maintenance of security and order, environmental sanitation at the relic; propaganda and promotion of heritage values; preparation and reception of ICOMOS experts for field surveys and assessments; receiving opinions from domestic experts and scientists and ICOMOS experts to supplement, edit and complete the report supplementing information of the nomination dossier...
Comrade Mai Son expressed his hope that the nomination dossier for the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac relic and landscape complex will receive attention and support from the leaders of UNESCO, ICOMOS and the World Heritage Committee. This includes objective and truthful assessments of the beauty and outstanding values of the heritage complex as well as recognition of the efforts and dedication of the three provinces in the work of preserving and promoting the heritage values.
