2-year-old girl shows signs of abuse at private nursery

(Dan Tri) - A 2-year-old girl in Ca Mau showed signs of being abused when her family sent her to a private daycare center.

On November 6, according to a source from Dan Tri reporter, the People's Committee of Ganh Hao commune ( Ca Mau province) temporarily suspended the activities of the private nursery group AL (Hamlet 3, Ganh Hao commune) so that the authorities could investigate and clarify the case of a 2-year-old girl showing signs of abuse.

According to initial information, the private nursery group AL is owned by Ms. NHAL (39 years old). The group has 14 children attending.

On October 28, the parents of 2-year-old VAN discovered bruises on his face and back, so they reported it to local authorities.

After receiving the information, the People's Committee of Ganh Hao commune and relevant authorities worked with the owner of the nursery. Initial verification results showed that N. showed signs of abuse.

According to the medical diagnosis, the baby suffered trauma to the right cheek and back with swelling (many bruises).

According to N.’s family, Mrs. AL is the one who directly takes care of the child. Since the abuse, the child has been traumatized, shocked, and often startled and scared when sleeping.

Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. VYK (father of N.) said that the family is waiting for the authorities to investigate and clarify. "I want to clarify how my child was beaten and for how long, and handle the case according to regulations," Mr. K. said.

Ms. NHAL, owner of the private nursery school AL, said the case is being investigated by the authorities so she has no further comment.

According to the People's Committee of Ganh Hao commune, after the investigation results are available, depending on the level of violation, appropriate measures will be taken according to regulations.

Initially, the Commune People's Committee visited and encouraged N.'s family. At the same time, it directed a kindergarten to support parents in temporarily arranging and receiving children during the time the nursery group stopped operating when parents had a need.
