Military Hospital 175 promotes professional quality

In the first quarter of 2023, the Party Committee of Military Hospital 175 led the implementation of many synchronous solutions, effectively performed key tasks, admitted, provided emergency treatment with good results, and successfully treated many severe, difficult, and complicated cases. The hospital strengthened its foreign affairs activities, cooperated with domestic and foreign hospitals, and maintained compliance with the unit's regulations and regimes.

The hospital's highlight is the implementation of air emergency services with 4 flights ensuring absolute safety. In addition, the hospital has examined more than 130,500 patients (an increase of 81.9% over the same period in 2022), treated more than 17,600 patients (an increase of 21.8% over the same period in 2022), provided emergency care to more than 15,200 patients (an increase of nearly 21.4% over the same period in 2022), performed more than 5,300 surgeries (including nearly 1,200 special cases)...

Deploying the tasks of the second quarter of 2023, Military Hospital 175 has set the goal of ensuring readiness for unexpected situations, emergency response at sea and islands and units under the line, operating 2B emergency teams, and air emergency teams. In terms of expertise, strive to increase the number of outpatients, of which the service type accounts for 30-40%, increase the number of patients examined and operated on demand, expand the types of technical services and services for medical examination and treatment subjects...

At the same time, continue to train Level 2 Field Hospital No. 5 to ensure quality and readiness to depart for the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in South Sudan. The hospital ensures the progress of the construction items of the 1,000-bed hospital project so that the base block can be put into operation by the end of 2023.

Speaking at the conference, Major General, Dr. Tran Quoc Viet emphasized: One of the key tasks in the coming time is to do well all preparations, implement the first organ transplant project at the hospital in May 2023 to ensure quality, achieve goals and requirements. Along with that, continue to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment , health care for soldiers and people, maintain good regimes, focusing on medical examination, monitoring and care, consultation of difficult and complicated cases, and reporting.

Major General Tran Quoc Viet requested the entire hospital to innovate and develop services to serve patients and other subjects in depth, quality, and efficiency to bring good experiences. At the same time, promote the application of information technology, digital transformation in professional and administrative management towards building an electronic, smart hospital and constantly improving hospital quality management.

On this occasion, Military Hospital 175 announced and awarded decisions on appointing staff; awarded rewards at all levels to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.
