Ms. Kim Thuy follows Uncle Ho from small daily tasks.

Ms. Thuy was commended by the People's Committee of Tan Phu Dong district for her innovative project "Measures to develop qualities and abilities for students in the subject of National Defense and SecurityEducation , grade 10".

Ms. Thuy shared that, in her work and daily life, she always learns and follows Uncle Ho's example from the simplest things such as: going to work on time, having a high sense of responsibility, being close and sincere with colleagues, parents and students. She always remembers Uncle Ho's teaching: "... A good teacher is the most glorious person...".

Therefore, she constantly innovates teaching methods to inspire, educate students on life ideals and patriotism through History and National Defense and Security Education. She also tries to live an exemplary life, actively participating in the work of the Youth Union, Party, and Trade Union. For her, learning and following Uncle Ho is not just a temporary action, but a persistent and enthusiastic journey of a teacher.

During her teaching career, she faced many challenges, however, she was not discouraged but chose to innovate her lessons, listen closely to her students and participate in Youth Union activities to have more opportunities to interact with and understand them better.

She learned from Uncle Ho the sense of responsibility, perseverance, and not being afraid of difficulties and hardships. Her love for teaching, her belief in her students, and her desire to contribute to her hometown of Tan Phu Dong helped her overcome all obstacles and grow more mature on the path she has chosen.

Ms. Thuy expressed: “The biggest motivation for me to strive is the desire to become a positive inspiration for students. As a teacher of History and National Defense and Security Education, I always keep in mind that I not only impart knowledge, but also have the responsibility to foster national pride and love for the homeland and country in students. I always keep in mind that, in order for students to follow, teachers must first of all live with ideals, be responsible and set an example. Learning and following Uncle Ho is the guiding principle that helps me maintain that spirit in my daily work.”

Throughout her career, Ms. Thuy has always made constant efforts in teaching and movement activities. In terms of expertise, she has continuously completed her assigned tasks excellently, and was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for her outstanding achievements in the 2020-2022 and 2022-2024 school years, and a Provincial Emulation Fighter in 2024.

Ms. Thuy also actively participates in and effectively organizes the Youth Union - Young Pioneer movements at school. With her pioneering and creative spirit, she was awarded the Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Youth Union Cadre in 2025 by Tan Phu Dong District Youth Union; at the same time, she was commended and awarded the Certificate of Merit for "Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" by the Provincial Youth Union in 2024.

In the work of building the Youth Union, she always focuses on innovating the content and form of activities, combining Youth Union activities with moral education and lifestyle for union members and young people. Thanks to that, the Youth Union at the school has continuously achieved the title of excellently completing its tasks for many consecutive years, contributing to building a dynamic and healthy living environment for students.

In addition, she also proactively implemented "Skillful Mass Mobilization" models associated with movement activities, which were commended by Tan Phu Dong District Party Committee in 2022 and 2024, contributing to building a united, creative and strong collective.

With her efforts in teaching and working in the Youth Union, Ms. Thuy has been recognized for many years as a Party member who has completed her tasks excellently. She also has many initiatives and creative ideas that have been recognized, including initiatives at the provincial level such as: "Using Google Earth in teaching high school history" and "Measures to develop qualities and abilities for students in the subject of National Defense and Security Education, grade 10".

When asked about her advice for young people, Ms. Thuy shared: “Keep the flame of youthful enthusiasm alive. Live kindly, sincerely and always strive to do your job well. Even if it is just a normal thing, if you do it with all your heart, it is a way to contribute to making life more beautiful.” Being able to attend the 8th Congress of Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings in 2025 is a great honor and a testament to her tireless efforts over the past time.

Ms. Thuy believes that learning and following Uncle Ho does not necessarily have to start with big things, but from small daily things such as: Living responsibly, being diligent, knowing how to love, share and help others.
