However, in the preview for episode 3 of "A Father's Gift ," Nghia's (Tuan Tu) life becomes increasingly suffocating. He is taken by his mother-in-law (People's Artist Minh Hoa) to meet a business partner, but she openly shows her contempt for her son-in-law. Knowing his mother-in-law looked down on him for not earning much money, Nghia decided to "go big" and invest. However, due to a lack of capital, he considered hiring a bank to appraise the value of the house he had just bought.
Meanwhile, due to a lack of money, Thảo (Ngọc Huyền) went to the tutoring center to ask for an advance on her salary. There, she learned that Ms. Nguyệt (the person who introduced Thảo to the center) had already received her salary several days earlier.

Also in episode 3 of "A Father's Gift in the Countryside," Mr. Nhan is unaware that his two older children are facing financial difficulties. He is still mentoring his youngest son in business planning. After buying a truck, Hieu (Duy Khanh) confidently believes he can earn 1 million dong per day, and after deducting expenses, he will make a profit of 200 million dong per year: "So, in just half a year, I can repay the money I borrowed from you, Dad."
However, Mr. Nhan argued that this was "counting your chickens before they hatch": "Now, I'm asking you, have you considered whether the trips will be short or long? And what about holidays, festivals, rainy days, storms, and floods? You're just sitting there calculating your chickens before they hatch."
On the surface, Mr. Nhan's children appear mature and successful, but in reality, they face their own problems that not everyone knows about. As the head of the family, how will Mr. Nhan cope when he learns that his eldest son is about to mortgage the house, his daughter is at risk of being scammed, and his youngest son is very likely to suffer business losses?
