Central Youth Union Secretary presents certificates of merit to students with special achievements at AIMO 2025

TPO - On the afternoon of September 26, at the press conference launching the Asian Mathematics Competition - AIMO for the 2025 - 2026 school year, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet - Secretary of the Central Youth Union awarded certificates of merit to the winners of the AIMO 2025 international final round.

On the afternoon of September 26, Tien Phong Newspaper in collaboration with Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Tien Phong Joint Stock Company held a press conference to launch the Asian Mathematics Competition - AIMO for the 2025-2026 school year.

The Asian Mathematics Olympiad (AIMO) was first organized in 2012 by the Asian Mathematical Olympiad Committee, with the annual participation of about 150,000 students from more than 20 countries and territories.
Vietnam officially participated in AIMO in 2019 and quickly affirmed its position with more than 220 international medals; in 2025 alone, Vietnam had 1 Championship, 10 Gold Medals, 7 Silver Medals and 4 Bronze Medals, affirming Vietnamese intelligence on the international Mathematics map.

At the launching ceremony of the new season, students who participated and won medals at the AIMO 2025 International Finals received Certificates of Merit from the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet - Secretary of the Central Youth Union and journalist Phung Cong Suong - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper presented certificates of merit to the winners of the AIMO 2025 international final round.

Phan Thanh Huy, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted - excellent student who won the AIMO 2025 championship received a certificate of merit.

The Vietnamese team participating in the AIMO 2025 International Finals in Japan successfully completed the exam with 1 Championship, 10 Gold Medals, 7 Silver Medals and 4 Bronze Medals.
