Binh Long: 500 people received gifts and free medical examinations

BPO - On May 10, at Phat Quoc Van Thanh Pagoda, Binh Long Town, the Red Cross Society of Binh Long Town coordinated with the pagoda to organize a program to examine and give free medicine and give 500 gifts to households in difficult circumstances and social protection beneficiaries in the area.

Doctors from the Post Office General Hospital examine and provide free health consultation to people.

At the program, the Organizing Committee examined patients, provided health consultations, and provided guidance on how to prevent and treat common diseases, as well as how to eat and live hygienically during the rainy season. People were also given free medicine.

The organizing committee gives gifts to people in difficult circumstances and social protection beneficiaries.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 500 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, including rice, necessities and 100,000 VND in cash. The total value of the gifts is 250 million VND, supported by Phat Quoc Van Thanh Pagoda from businesses and benefactors.

The program aims to share and help people in difficult circumstances and social protection beneficiaries, contributing to helping people reduce immediate difficulties, stabilize their lives and access medical examination and screening services.
