It is expected that at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, the Ministry of Education and Training will hold a conference to announce the 2025 high school graduation exam score distribution before announcing the exam scores to candidates at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, June 17.
This is a completely new approach compared to previous years when the score distribution and score distribution analysis were only announced after candidates knew their scores for all subjects.

In addition to announcing the score distribution, the conference also included an exchange and discussion between the National Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, the score distribution analysis team, and experts and reporters attending the conference.
This year's score distribution and score analysis are especially awaited by the public after many opinions said that the exam questions for some subjects such as math and English in the high school graduation exam were "too difficult".
Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training reported on the 2025 high school graduation exam, in which it affirmed that the exam questions of each subject have gradually implemented the goals of Resolution 29 on fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training. That is, "correctly assessing students' abilities, as a basis for vocationaleducation and university education enrollment".
The exam has increased the number of differentiating questions to avoid the situation of previous years when the exam had few questions to classify, causing difficulties in enrollment, forcing many universities to organize their own exams, which is costly and wastes social resources.
Regarding the content of the exam, the Ministry of Education and Training affirmed that it did not exceed the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program. The ratio of thinking levels (related to difficulty) is required to closely follow the published reference questions, be differentiated and based on test results in 3 regions.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, there may be many reasons for some difficult test scores, especially in math and English. However, the ministry believes that it is necessary to wait until the test results are available to determine clearly.
The Ministry of Education and Training affirmed that once the marking process is completed, the Ministry will analyze the candidates' test results to have a basis for evaluating the quality of the test, the exam, and teaching and learning activities nationwide. Analyze the adjusted scores between exam subjects to serve the evaluation of exam results of the subjects.
This, according to the Ministry of Education and Training, is one of the new requirements for organizing high school graduation exams from 2025.
