Ministry of Education and Training announced the floor scores for health and teacher training majors in 2024

The Ministry of Education and Training announced the minimum admission score for teacher training and health majors in 2024.

Accordingly, the threshold to ensure input quality from high school graduation exam scores for admission to health majors with university-level practice certificates in 2024 for candidates in region 3 has a minimum score (without coefficient) in all combinations of 3 exam subjects of 19 points.

Specifically, the Medicine and Dentistry majors have the highest minimum score (22.5 points). The Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy majors have a minimum score of 21 points. The majors: Nursing, Preventive Medicine, Midwifery, Dental Prosthetics, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology; and Rehabilitation Technology have a minimum score of 19 points.

In addition to the health sector, the Ministry of Education and Training also issued a decision on the threshold to ensure input quality from high school graduation exam scores to enroll in majors in the university-level teacher training group and college-level preschool education in 2024 for candidates in region 3 with a minimum score (without coefficient) in all combinations of 3 exam subjects.

Specifically: for the group of university-level teacher training majors, the minimum score is 19 points. For the majors of Physical Education Pedagogy, Music Pedagogy, and Fine Arts Pedagogy, the minimum score is 18 points (for 3 cultural subjects); other admission combinations are implemented according to regulations.

The threshold to ensure the quality of admission to the College-level Preschool Education major is 17 points (for 3 cultural subjects); other admission combinations are implemented according to regulations.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires: institutions (universities, academies, and colleges) that train in health-related fields with university-level practice certificates and teacher training institutions (college and university levels) to organize the admission of candidates using the 2024 high school graduation exam results according to current regulations and related guidance documents.

Thus, the floor scores of the two above-mentioned industry groups remain stable as in 2023.
