STEAM ART TEACHING MATERIALS ACCOMPANYING TEACHERS IN CONQUERING STEAM

From idea to reality

The idea of ​​building a set of integrated STEAM learning materials for Fine Arts comes from practical needs:

• Elementary school students need more than just drawing lessons.
• Teachers need modern, dynamic, easy-to-deploy teaching tools.
• Schools need programs that combine arts and science to motivate students to learn.

From there, Hong Ha and STEAM VIETNAM experts from prestigious universities (Hanoi Pedagogical University, Central University of Art Education,...) tested and completed a set of learning materials for 5 grades, ensuring pedagogy - creativity - application .

What is special about the learning materials?

• Diverse materials : wooden sticks, joints, craft paper, clay, wool, LED bulbs, solar panels, mini motors…
• Interdisciplinary integration : Math (shapes), Science (energy, motion), Engineering (assembly), Technology (electronics), Fine Arts (creativity, decoration).
• Develop according to a 5-layer roadmap : from familiarization - basic creation - advanced - technical application - technology integration.
• Practice – experience – create : each lesson becomes a small project, where students learn, work and express their personality.

• Successfully organized teacher training sessions in many localities, attracting the active participation of hundreds of teachers.

Looking to the future

• Replicate the model nationwide so that all primary school students have access.
• Develop advanced version for middle school and high school level.
