The Ministry of Foreign Affairs opened a political theory training course for Party admission candidates and new Party members, term II, 2025.

On the afternoon of December 1, at the Diplomatic Academy, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held the opening ceremony of the Political Theory Training Course for Party admission candidates and new Party members, Course II, 2025.

Taking place in the atmosphere of the entire Party, people and army competing to achieve achievements to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party, the classes are meaningful activities to realize the direction of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the 2025 Work Program.

The opening ceremony was attended by comrade Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry, along with representatives of the Diplomatic Academy, more than 70 new party members and more than 70 outstanding people from party cells under the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs .

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Tran Thanh Hai warmly welcomed more than 140 students attending the Political Theory Training Course for Party admission candidates and new Party members, course II, 2025, organized by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with the Diplomatic Academy.

According to comrade Tran Thanh Hai, implementing the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, the resolutions of the Central Committee, the Government Party Committee, the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on strengthening Party building work, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs always focuses on the work of fostering political theory and developing Party members throughout the Party Committee.

Through the training course, students will be equipped with basic knowledge about the formation of correct political viewpoints and stances, enlightenment on the purpose and ideals of the Communist Party of Vietnam, understanding the history of formation and development of the Communist Party of Vietnam, acknowledging and complying with the Party Charter; studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh.

For the probationary party members, they will continue to improve their political awareness, practice their working style and cadre ethics to become official party members. For the elite masses who are candidates for Party admission, this is the beginning of the process of striving to realize their ideals and determine the right motives when joining the Party.

"During the study period, students will absorb and apply theoretical knowledge into practical work and training as instructed by President Ho Chi Minh: 'We join the Party to wholeheartedly serve the class, serve the people, and fulfill the duties of a Party member,' comrade Tran Thanh Hai emphasized.

In this course, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized two training classes including a political theory class for new party members and a class for candidates admitted to the Party.

The training program for new party members includes 10 topics on: Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought; National independence associated with socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam; Promoting the strength of the entire nation, socialist democracy, building and perfecting the socialist rule-of-law state; The Party's socio-economic development guidelines; Developing education and training, science and technology, building Vietnamese culture; Strengthening national defense and security; Proactively and actively integrating internationally; Principles of Party organization and operation and Party building work at the grassroots level; Strengthening Party building and rectification; The first part is training to be worthy of the title of a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The class for Party admission candidates includes 5 topics: Overview of the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Platform for national construction in the transitional period to socialism; Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology; Striving to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Current affairs, new policies in the Documents of the 13th National Party Congress and new issues in the draft Documents of the 14th National Party Congress on foreign affairs.

Promoting the spirit of "real learning, bringing real results", comrade Tran Thanh Hai asked students attending the course to strictly follow classroom rules, focus on listening to lectures and discussions.

At the end of the opening ceremony, the students of the two training classes began their first subject study with excitement, enthusiasm and the belief that they would soon officially join the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
