The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Home Affairs, Agriculture and Environment has new Ministers.

Mr. Le Hoai Trung, 64 years old, from Thua Thien Hue, PhD in Law, Master of International Law and Diplomacy , member of the Party Central Committee, 12th and 13th terms, member of the Secretariat, 13th term. He has held the positions of Third Secretary, Minister Counselor, Deputy Head of the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations, Director of the Department of International Organizations, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Ambassador, Head of the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations from 2011 to 2014.

In March 2021, he was appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Head of the Central External Relations Commission, in October 2023 he was elected to the Secretariat, and in February 2025 he was assigned to be the Chief of the Party Central Office. In August 2025, he was assigned by the Prime Minister as Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and has now been approved by the National Assembly as Minister.

Assisting Mr. Le Hoai Trung are 7 deputy ministers, including Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Nguyen Minh Vu, Dang Hoang Giang, Le Anh Tuan, Ngo Le Van, Le Thi Thu Hang, and Nguyen Minh Hang.

Mr. Do Thanh Binh, 58 years old, from Ca Mau, has a master's degree in Economics, a bachelor's degree in Political Economy, a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, and a delegate to the 15th National Assembly. He has held many positions in Kien Giang (now An Giang), such as: Secretary of the District Youth Union, Chairman of the District People's Committee, Secretary of the Vinh Thuan District Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

In early 2025, he was appointed by the Politburo as Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee; at the end of September 2025, he was appointed by the Prime Minister as Permanent Deputy Minister of Home Affairs. He assumed the position of Minister of Home Affairs, replacing Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra, who had just been approved to hold the position of Deputy Prime Minister.

The Ministry of Home Affairs is a government agency that manages the state in the following areas: State administrative and career organizations; local government organizations; cadres, civil servants, public employees and public service; labor, wages, social insurance; employment; occupational safety and hygiene; associations, social funds, charity funds, non-governmental organizations; meritorious people; youth; gender equality; state documents and archives; emulation and rewards.

Assisting Minister of Home Affairs Do Thanh Binh are 6 Deputy Ministers including Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha and Messrs. Vu Chien Thang, Truong Hai Long, Cao Huy, Nguyen Van Hoi, and Nguyen Manh Khuong.

Mr. Tran Duc Thang, 52 years old, from Phu Tho, has a PhD in Economics, and is a member of the 13th Party Central Committee. He used to be the Director of the Department of State Asset Management (Ministry of Finance), a member and then Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee. In 2022, he was transferred to be the Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee (old). When Hai Duong merged with Hai Phong, he was appointed Deputy Inspector General of the Government, then assigned as Acting Minister of Agriculture and Environment from July 2025.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has the function of state management in the following fields: agriculture, forestry, salt industry, fisheries, irrigation, natural disaster prevention, rural development, land, water resources, mineral and geological resources, environment, hydrometeorology, climate change, surveying and mapping, remote sensing, integrated management of resources and protection of the marine and island environment.

Currently assisting Minister Tran Duc Thang are 9 Deputy Ministers: Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa and Messrs. Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Tran Thanh Nam, Tran Quy Kien, Le Cong Thanh, Phung Duc Tien, Nguyen Quoc Tri, Hoang Trung, and Vo Van Hung.
