During the program, the Command of Coast Guard Region 3 signed a program to coordinate propaganda and education on seas and islands for the period 2025 - 2030 with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee; signed a program to coordinate propaganda work on seas and islands on newspapers, digital platforms, social networks and channels of Vinh Long Newspaper - Radio and Television; signed a program to coordinate organization of propaganda and education activities and the Contest "I love my homeland's seas and islands" for the period 2024 - 2030 with the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Long province.

The Command of Coast Guard Region 3 signed with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee.

The coordination content focuses on propagating the Party's guidelines and policies; the State's policies and laws on protecting sovereignty , developing the economy, culture and society in conjunction with the task of maintaining security, order and safety at sea; disseminating Vietnamese and international laws on preventing and combating illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing; at the same time providing and disseminating knowledge and skills on maritime safety, search and rescue and supporting fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea.

In addition, the parties coordinate to organize social security activities, give scholarships, provide free medical examinations and medicines to people, policy families, and fishermen in difficult circumstances; and mobilize resources to support students with disabilities and those with serious illnesses.

Activities towards the sea and islands are also focused on implementation, such as: Launching the environmental protection movement; organizing competitions, creating literature and art about the sea, islands and soldiers; training skills to prevent drowning, school violence, social evils; organizing tours and practical experiences at units of Coast Guard Region 3.

According to Colonel Le Van Tu, Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 3: The coordination program has profound political and social significance, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members, organizations and people of Vinh Long province for the cause of protecting sovereignty, maintaining security, order and safety of the sea, islands and continental shelf of the Fatherland. This is also an important basis to promote the combined strength of the entire political system, arousing sentiment, responsibility and solidarity of the entire people towards the sea and islands of the homeland.
