For the past two days, social networks have been discussing singer Dam Vinh Hung's inappropriate joke on a photo of the father and son of the Director of the Department of Performing Arts, People's Artist Xuan Bac.

Specifically, Xuan Bac posted a photo with his son Khanh Minh (born in 2007) shirtless with a humorous story about going to the gym.

The post quickly attracted a large number of interactions with 73 thousand reactions, more than 600 comments and 165 shares. Most netizens praised Khanh Minh's appearance and Xuan Bac's humorous writing style.

However, some people made rude and vulgar comments about Khanh Minh's body, especially when she was only 18 years old. Singer Dam Vinh Hung also teased: "Father and son are both hot."

Therefore, People's Artist Xuan Bac reminded the above accounts: "Please comment in a civilized manner. You can express your personal opinions and perceptions, but do not use inappropriate words. Thank you."

Notably, Xuan Bac's serious comment was misinterpreted as him responding to singer Dam Vinh Hung.

This content quickly spread strongly on social networks. Many internet users were happy, thinking that Dam Vinh Hung made rude comments so he was reprimanded by Director Xuan Bac.

The story became even more noisy when the 7X singer also quietly changed the joke "Dad and son are delicious together" to a heart symbol.

Singer Dam Vinh Hung has just officially spoken out about the unusual scandal. According to the share, Xuan Bac called Dam Vinh Hung to clarify the misunderstandings, the relationship between the two sides is still normal.

"'You're still as lovely and sincere as ever! Calling and saying something that warmed my heart: 'Why do you have to edit your comment? You've been with me for so many years... There are always people who just want to understand things their way even though things are definitely not as they think'", the male singer wrote.

Dam Vinh Hung added that he is not afraid of anything if he does not do anything wrong and emphasized that Xuan Bac's comment was aimed at a group of uncivilized internet users, not him.

For his part, Xuan Bac changed the above post to a status of limited comments.

On October 22, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a workshop to collect opinions on the Draft Code of Conduct for Culture in Cyberspace.

People's Artist Xuan Bac - Director of the Department of Performing Arts said that with the current strong development of digital technology , behaving civilly online is not only an ethical requirement but also a social responsibility of each individual and organization.

Accordingly, images, language and behavior on the Internet all contribute to reflecting the cultural level of users. If social network users lack awareness, aesthetics and standards, this environment will quickly be dominated by deviant and offensive content.

Xuan Bac proposed strengthening the management of service and content providers on the internet and having clearer regulations on aesthetics and cultural responsibility.

He also noted that when building a Code of Conduct for Cultural Conduct on Cyberspace, it is necessary to focus on the aspect of "culture in behavior" instead of just speaking generally.

"Two people can perform the same action, but a cultured person will express it differently. Culture is not just an abstract concept, but must be expressed specifically through daily behavior, communication, and interaction," Xuan Bac shared.

People's Artist believes that every agency, organization, business or individual needs to build its own culture in the digital environment, from office culture, corporate culture to professional culture.

"When everyone is oriented towards positive values, we will have a decent cyberspace where information is shared responsibly and humanely," he emphasized.
