Local Party newspapers discuss solutions to improve the quality of journalistic works to attract readers.

At the meeting, leaders, reporters and editors of the two Party newspapers, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper and Dong Nai Newspaper, discussed many key contents related to solutions to attract readers to the newspaper.

According to journalist Truong Duc Nghia, Editor-in-Chief of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper, traditional press is currently facing many challenges and fierce competition from multi-platform media like today.

To adapt and develop, in addition to keeping up with the development of communication technology, press agencies in general and Party newspapers in particular need to strongly innovate in content according to modern journalism trends.

"Only by improving the quality of content can Party newspapers maintain their position as the Party's main tool for ideological work, the official information channel and the bridge between the Party and the people," journalist Truong Duc Nghia emphasized.

Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper Dao Van Tuan also said that local press is currently in a context with opportunities but also many challenges, forcing us to have changes, creativity and innovation.

To catch up with modern trends and do our job well, especially how to attract readers; orient propaganda information, catch up with news sources, dominate information space, especially cyberspace news.

At the workshop, delegates also openly shared their experiences in innovating journalism and working in specific genres. In addition, a series of thorny issues related to how to deal with sources of information, the attitude of those conducting investigative work; and how to maintain an objective attitude while working.

At the same time, the two press agencies need to improve the quality of information and propaganda, innovate information on printed and electronic newspapers to attract propaganda; strengthen the building and promotion of newspaper brands. At the same time, train staff and reporters; invest in equipment and software to develop printed newspapers and electronic newspapers...
