Ninh Binh Provincial Women's Union at all levels takes care of students in difficult circumstances.

On the occasion of the new school year 2025 - 2026, the Women's Union at all levels of Ninh Binh province has implemented many practical activities, accompanying students in difficult circumstances, contributing to creating more motivation for them to confidently go to school.

Implementing the program "Helping children go to school", during the past summer, the Association at all levels actively promoted socialization, mobilized the cooperation of organizations, businesses, and kind-hearted individuals to give hundreds of gifts including notebooks, milk, shoes, etc. At the same time, the Association awarded 452 scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties, each worth from 500,000 VND to 5 million VND, with a total cost of nearly 230 million VND. This is a timely source of support, contributing to encouraging students to overcome difficulties and make efforts to study and practice.

Many Women's Unions have had creative ways to effectively mobilize social resources. Typically, the Women's Union of Rang Dong commune awarded 182 gifts worth 92.7 million VND; the Women's Union of Nghia Lam commune awarded 63 gifts worth nearly 28 million VND; the Women's Union of Tan Thanh commune awarded 34 gifts worth 15.6 million VND. The above figures show the sense of responsibility and solidarity of the Women's Union at all levels and the community towards the young generation, especially students in particularly difficult circumstances.

Along with giving gifts and scholarships, the Women's Union at all levels also focuses on implementing and replicating the "Godmother" model to accompany and support orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances. In particular, the Women's Union of Liem Ha commune mobilized benefactors to support 16 gifts worth 19.2 million VND for sponsored children; the Women's Union of Hoa Lu ward mobilized benefactors to sponsor 2 orphans, each child 5 million VND/year, with a total budget of 10 million VND; the Women's Union of Nam Truc commune supported 7 orphans with a total amount of 7 million VND.
