Strive for 100% of Veterans Association members of Son Hai commune to achieve the title of exemplary members.

On October 27, the Veterans Association of Son Hai commune (An Giang province) held the 8th General Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The Executive Committee of the Veterans Association of Son Hai commune took a photo with representatives of the Provincial Veterans Association and the Party Committee of Son Hai commune.

During the past term, the Executive Committee of the Veterans Association of Son Hai commune created conditions for 108 members to borrow preferential loans from the Social Policy Bank to develop their family economy , with a total outstanding loan of 4.6 billion VND. The Association organized a fundraising campaign to build a house of Comradeship; and considered building a new house of Gratitude in Hon Heo hamlet.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Son Hai Commune Veterans Association strives to develop over 85% of eligible members into the Association. Every year, 100% of members achieve the title of exemplary member, 100% of veteran families achieve the title of cultural family.

Along with that, build a revolving capital contribution fund; reduce overdue debt of loans from the Social Policy Bank; mobilize 100% of veteran members to participate in health insurance and 95% or more of member households to participate in voluntary family insurance.

The Congress announced the decision of the An Giang Provincial Veterans Association to appoint the Executive Committee of the Son Hai Commune Veterans Association for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 5 comrades; and appointed comrade Huynh Van Nghiem to hold the position of Chairman of the Association.
